SESSIONS A 50 minute consultation is a necessary pre-requisite to determining if we should pursue treatment together. If a higher level of care is indicated or we are simply not the right fit I will assist with making appropriate recommendations. Should we decide to move forward, all new clients are requested to engage in weekly sessions for a minimum of three months. This ensures the building of trust and progress with dismantling core wounds and patterns so that goals can be attained. If appropriate a reduction in the frequency of sessions (no less than twice/month) can be assessed after the initial three month period. Sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration. There are times when circumstances could warrant us scheduling a 90 minute session. Continuity of sessions is critical to making progress. Patterns of lateness, absences, and re-scheduling will be addressed to determine patient's readiness to partake in therapeutic coaching.
TELE-HEALTH SESSIONS We can meet on a video platform or through phone contact, wherever it’s most convenient for you. All you need is a computer and broadband internet access. It’s secure and accepted by major health insurance companies.
CANCELLATIONS Since scheduling an appointment involves reserving a time specifically for you, a minimum of 48 hours notice is required for us to cancel or reschedule. Unless we reach a different agreement, the full fee will be charged for late cancellations and missed appointments. Frequency with canceling and/or re-scheduling appointments disrupts the process and my schedule. Essentially, once you have been given an appointment, it is your responsibility to keep and use it. Altering my schedule to accommodate a requested change can be a complicated task as it can involve adjustments to my personal schedule as well as the schedules of other clients.
